Project Brief
This project was done for an electrician who also owns a shop by the name DELTA ELECTRICALS AND ELECTRONICS located in Ol kalou town, Kenya. This client entirely deals with electronic sales ,domestic and commercial wiring installations.
Why this project?
The purpose/ objective of this project was to design an elegant banner that would communicate the business' goals and services in a simple way.
Challenges
Though the client needed this project done, he did not have the business name ready yet, brand colors and also the size of the banner to be designed.
Approaches to this challenge
we combined effort and discussed various project requirements including; Business name, banner size, color themes, images to be included and the duration this project would take.
After an intensive discussion, we agreed as follows:
Business name to be; DELTA ELECTRICALS AND ELECTRONICS (to capture client involvement in both electrical appliances and electronics), color themes to be a combination of red, blue and yellow ( this colors are dormant in the electrical engineering industry) and the banner size to be 1650 x 650 mm.
Final Project Stages
I did a research on what was already working in the market and in this town in particular, I designed two design concept and presented them to the client, I later did several revisions on the chosen concept and the project was done. It took me roughly two days to complete this project.
